Desert Wedding At Andreas Oasis

There are so many gorgeous private estates and properties in the greater Palm Springs area that can absolutely be the perfect setting for any small, intimate weddings. One of those properties is a location called Andreas Oasis, which Daniel and Emily stumbled upon while planning their Palm Springs wedding. Technically located in Thousand Palms, Andreas Oasis was the perfect fit for Emily and Daniel who were looking for a intimate spot to be the setting for their cozy wedding among family and friends. In fact, the wedding was even photographed by a close friend that the couple knew since they were kids. The wedding photographer, Katherine Robins of Robin Co. Photography, captured all the emotion of the day. And since she has known Emily and Daniel for years, and was actually a the wedding we will let her tell you more about this awesome day. So we will let the talented wedding photographer Katherine take it from here!

Favorite Thing About Andreas Oasis?

My favorite thing about the private estate (Andreas Oasis) was definitely the scenery, it was absolutely stunning! The desert and the hills/mountains surrounding it all, it was breathtaking. The desert vibe with such beautiful tones made the property a gem to photograph, especially when sunset time came!

The Bride & Groom

Emily (the bride) and Daniel (the groom) met in elementary school and were high school sweethearts! I went to kindergarten with Daniel and we became friends again when I was in middle school! They’ve become great friends of my husband and I, and I was so honored when they chose us to shoot their wedding!

Favorite Moment From The Palm Springs Wedding

Personally my favorite part of the day was the wedding vows that Emily and Daniel shared with each other. They wrote their own vows, and because I was friends with them prior to photographing their wedding and knowing them as a couple and their story, it made it much more meaningful.

Additional Wedding Vendors:

Here are a couple other Palm Springs wedding vendors that I definitely want to give a shout out to who helped make the wedding day run smoothly! The floral arrangements and all things “flower” were created by Reonna Martinez. Miranda Heather, another all-star wedding vendor, provided hair and makeup services to the bride and bridemaids!

About The Palm Springs Wedding Photographer

Katherine Robins of Robin Co. Photography

My name is Katherine and I’m married to an amazing man and videographer/photographer. I started Robin Co. Photography in 2014. I’m based in Orange County, CA and Bellingham, WA. Most of what I currently shoot is in Washington, but I am currently growing my business in Southern California! I started getting involved with photography when I was only 16-years-old, assisting and interning with other wedding photographers in my local community. I knew pretty quickly that photography was something I had to do for “work”. I love capturing people’s love stories and feel incredibly honored to play such an important role capturing moments they can look back on forever.
